What is Biddy Jobs?
Biddy Jobs is a hyperlocal task marketplace for South Florida that connects people who need things done (Posters) with nearby neighbors who offer their skills (Bidders). Whether you need yard work, furniture assembly, cleaning, pet care, errands, or any everyday task — Biddy makes it easy to hire local or earn locally on your own schedule.
How do I get started?
Download the Biddy Jobs app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Create a free profile in minutes — you can use the same account to post jobs as a Poster and earn money as a Bidder. No subscription required.
What types of tasks can I post or bid on?
Almost any everyday task: home maintenance & repairs, yard work, cleaning, furniture assembly, moving help, pet care, grocery runs, event setup, and more. Tasks must be legal, safe, and completed in person. Biddy is not for remote freelance work — it’s built for local, hands-on jobs.
Who can use Biddy Jobs?
Anyone 18 or older in the Broward and Palm Beach County, Florida area can join. Both Posters (people who need tasks done) and Bidders (people who want to earn) must create a verified profile. Biddy performs identity verification to keep the community safe and trustworthy.
For Job Posters
How do I post a task?
Tap Post a Task in the app. Add a short description, upload photos if helpful, set your location, and either name your price or request bids. Your posting goes live instantly and nearby Bidders are notified. Most tasks receive their first bid within minutes.
How do I choose the right person for the job?
Once bids come in, review each Bidder’s profile — including their verified ID badge, star rating, completed job count, and reviews from previous Posters. You can also message Bidders directly inside the app before making a decision. Accept the bid that best fits your needs and budget.
Can I cancel a task after posting it?
Yes. You can cancel a posted task at any time before accepting a bid at no charge. Once you’ve accepted a bid and the Bidder is on their way, please contact Biddy support before cancelling to ensure a fair outcome for the Bidder.
What happens after I accept a bid?
You’ll fund the job through the app — your payment is held securely in escrow via Stripe and not released to the Bidder until you confirm the task is complete. You and the Bidder can communicate via in-app messaging to coordinate the details.
For Bidders / Earners
How do I find work on Biddy Jobs?
Browse open tasks near you on the map or in the task feed. Filter by category, distance, or price. When you see a task you want, submit a bid with your proposed price and a short note. If the Poster accepts, you’re hired. You can have multiple active bids at once.
Can I set my own schedule?
Absolutely — that’s one of Biddy’s core principles. You choose which tasks to bid on, when you’re available, and how much to charge. There are no minimum hours, no required shifts, and no boss. Work as little or as much as you want.
How do I get paid?
Once you complete a task and the Poster confirms it’s done, your earnings are released from escrow and deposited directly into your bank account via Stripe. You’ll need to connect a bank account in the app to receive payouts.
How quickly do I receive my earnings?
Stripe payouts typically arrive within 1–3 business days after the Poster confirms task completion. Payout timing may vary slightly depending on your bank. You can track your earnings history inside the app at any time.
Payments & Fees
Is there a fee to use Biddy Jobs?
The app is free to download. Posting tasks is free. Bidding on tasks is free. Biddy charges a small service fee on completed transactions — this covers the cost of secure payment processing, ID verification, and platform support. The fee is shown clearly before you confirm any payment.
How does the payment system work?
All payments on Biddy Jobs are processed through Stripe, a globally trusted payment platform used by millions of businesses. When a Poster accepts a bid, they pre-fund the task amount into a secure escrow account. The funds are held there — unavailable to either party — until the task is confirmed complete. This protects Posters from paying for unfinished work and protects Bidders from non-payment.
What payment methods are accepted?
Biddy accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe’s secure checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay support is coming soon. Cash payments are not permitted — all transactions must go through the in-app payment system to ensure protection for both parties.
When do I pay?
As a Poster, payment is collected when you accept a bid. The funds go into escrow immediately — Stripe holds them securely until you confirm the job is done. You are never charged before you’ve accepted someone’s offer.
Safety & Trust
Is Biddy Jobs safe?
Safety is our top priority. Every user must verify their identity before transacting. All payments are held in escrow through Stripe so no money exchanges hands until a job is complete. In-app messaging keeps your personal contact info private, and our ratings and review system creates accountability on both sides.
How does Biddy Jobs verify users?
All users go through ID verification before they can post or accept paid tasks. This process confirms your identity using a government-issued ID and a selfie. Verified users display a badge on their profile so you always know who you’re dealing with.
Is my personal and financial information secure?
Yes. Your financial data is handled exclusively by Stripe — Biddy never stores your credit card or bank account details on our servers. Your personal contact information (phone number, address) is never shared with other users. All in-app communication happens through our private messaging system.
What happens if there is a dispute?
If there’s a disagreement about whether a task was completed satisfactorily, contact Biddy support through the app. Our team will review the job details, photos, and in-app messages to mediate a fair resolution. We aim to respond to all disputes within one business day. Escrow funds remain held until the dispute is resolved.
How do ratings and reviews work?
After every completed task, both the Poster and Bidder leave each other a star rating (1–5 stars) and an optional written review. These are public on each user’s profile and help the community make informed decisions. Reviews cannot be edited or deleted, which keeps the feedback honest and reliable.

The Biddy Jobs app is available 24/7 — post tasks, browse jobs, and message at any time. Our customer support team is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. For urgent matters outside those hours, email support@biddyjobs.com and we’ll respond the next business day.
