Biddy started with a simple thought: why is it so hard to find help for everyday tasks — and just as hard for regular people to find flexible ways to earn money?

As a busy mom of three, hairstylist, former salon owner, and someone who grew up around a family construction business, our founder has seen both sides. She knows what it feels like to have a never-ending list of things that need to get done. She also knows plenty of hardworking people — students, parents, retirees, tradespeople and neighbors — who have useful skills and could use extra income, but don’t necessarily want another traditional job.

The options already out there felt too corporate, too complicated, or limited to a small list of standard services. Sometimes you don’t need a large company. You just need someone nearby who is willing and able to help.

It’s about making help easier to find, creating more flexible ways to earn, and bringing opportunity back into local communities.
